Floral delight!

Friends who brunch together…  This weekend I got to meet up with two of my favorite gals in Delhi. I basically showed up wearing something unusual of my taste.  Apparently it was floral midi dress day.

Initially while the concept of “midi dress” was ever discussed, I was like a big no. I felt like it hit my leg in a weird place, but after experimenting with a few hundred styles, I’ve found that length are my midi best friends and also, heels only.  Unless you’ve got a model body, I’d recommend sticking to heels with midi silhouettes.

This outfit was loved so much when I wore it that I decided to do a quick post. The beautiful dress with the floralprint is by Vishnu traders, a Delhi based store that exclusively curates comfortable cotton indo-western outfits, kurtis which aim at making women stand out in a crowd. Women LOVED my dress!

My ongoing love affair with floral prints continues for 2018 with a myriad of designer offering their take on iconic patterns. This dress comes in soft pastel colors and vibrant hues, with variations of the garden theme. For me this dress is all about having fun with fashion and embracing the joy and romance of spring. This is rocking Indo-Western style in that peach cotton fabric. This piece pulls off a more feminine and sophisticated look with flowers all over.

While the floral print trend has been in full bloom for as long as I can remember, this season I spotted some oversized floral motifs that even included 3D designs. At times too much of the floral print can go bad but this midi is a great way to wear floral in a more subtle way. The fabric of is so light and intricate which makes it look softer and delicate.

Floral outfits are the easiest to accessorize as it gives you the room to experiment with colors and prints as well. A colorful clutch with full commitment quickly adds fun, feminine and playful touch to this dress.

Look how great a full floral looks!
